Edith Friedman writes to figure out what happened. Her poetry chapbook Reconstruction was selected by Lee Ann Roripaugh for the 2024 Lefty Blondie Press First Chapbook Award. Her work has appeared in Aôthen, Common Dreams, The Ekphrastic Review, Epoch Press Literary Journal, Five Minutes, Nifty Lit Magazine, Poets Reading the News, Processing Crisis: An Anthology (Risk Press 2022), Rogue Agent, Sisyphus Literary Magazine, Solstice, SugarSugarSalt, SWAMP, Wild Greens and Zingara Poetry Review. She has an MFA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
