Edith Friedman writes to figure out what happened. Her poetry chapbook Reconstruction was selected by Lee Ann Roripaugh for the 2024 Lefty Blondie Press First Chapbook Award. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Aôthen, Calyx Journal, Common Dreams, The Ekphrastic Review, Five Minutes, Persimmon Tree, Poets Reading the News, Rogue Agent, Sisyphus Literary Magazine, Solstice, SugarSugarSalt, SWAMP, Wild Greens and Zingara Poetry Review, and elsewhere. She has an MFA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
